Spello and Castelluccio; flower's events

The best period to visit Italy is May-June, for me. The weather is good and temperatures aren't too hots, as summer days. In that period we can see some good events and places for example Castelluccio di Norcia's plane, where there is a magnific flower's bloom (photos belows), or Gubbio with Ceri the May, 15 or Assis and "Calendimaggio", in the firsts 15 days of May or or Spello for the "L'Infiorata" event (Umbrie's map). Spello, situated on the lower southern flank of Mt. Subasio., is 6 km of Foligno and 10 km of Assis. As I took the last Year in Perugia Blog, every years in Corpus Domini Spello's citizens make a mach for who will be the best decorator of the day. The little town, builded in middle ages on the old one, builded before romans, habited by 10,000 persons. The city divides in quarters and every quarter has a 'team of flower's decorators'. . The particular little streets of Spello, the middle-ages buildings and the paint on the streets are an incredibl spettacle, very difficult to find in others world's part. Castelluccio di Norcia "Fioritura": that event is a 'fest of nature'. Castelluccio di Norcia is a little town in a top of a hill on the natural 'plane'( webcam) . That plane is very hight (1,200 mt. on level of sea) and is on National Park of Sibillini Mountains -official site-. That incredible place, every years in June, changes his image thanks to blooming: the many flower's bloom and the colors can changes in few days, depends to many factors: weather, rain, sun, how kind of flowers are more presents: reds, yellows or violets, or all together. It's a show that to must see a time in a life, for every nature's lovers. In the photo below, the 'plane' with the little town of Castelluccio. I went to make camping in the National Park too many times in August, when it wasn't a even a National Park: it's very inexpensive holidays, with many place where to make free camping, near a little town called Foce- but more 'really' and there is a true 'contact' with nature: if you go here, I can tip to take everithing you need here, it's so easy to find qwood to start fire to cooking!... The places are extraordinaries, here we can makes trekking, or swimming -in a non-natural lake-; or paradigling; Castelluccio's plane knows as one of best place to make paradigling ( video)
