The Biggets Xmas Tree in the World

If You comes in Umbria, Italy in the Christmas time, You can see The Biggest Christmas Tree in the World ; as You can see in the photos below, this Tree is 'On' the Gubbio's Town. Gubbio's citizens are knows in all the world for the Ceri's Fest, One of traditional Fests in Italy, one of most olds (1000 years...). A day, in 1981 some Gubbio's citizens wants to make a very special thing. In that period another important and 'crazy things' in Umbria someone makes: An Italian's map made by trees, put on the hill. That expecially 'map' is very hight. It was made in the National Park of Sibillini Mountains , in the south of Umbria, near Norcia and Cascia, in the Terni's Province. In this park, when it was still not 'National', 10-15 years ago, I went some times to make camping with my friends. There is a very beautiful places, where you can do trekking , where there isn't houses, but only little farms and where nature domines. You can see the European Wolf, a very exiting meet...!
You can understand how that Christmas Tree is big if you look trught the last photo where there is the star and 2 handmakers that are building It; very incredible, don't You?!!!
Ps: The Xmas Tree is on 'Monte Ingino', the mountain in the back part of Gubbio. That mountain dedicated to S.Ubaldo, the Patron Saint of Gubbio; in the top of Monte Ingino there is a Church of Saint Ubaldo where is the finish of Ceri's run and where Ceris, after some kilometers of run, remains all the year to wait 15 May, the day of Ceri's Fest
